AI Spotlight #1

AI Spotlight 1/9/23 - A weekly newsletter focused on highlighting creative works generated by AI tools.

(If you are getting this email - thank you for supporting Track the Myth over 2022. We have officially shut down the platform and this is what I'm pivoting to I guess!)

Welcome to the first post of what will be a weekly series highlighting stunning works produced with AI tools on a daily basis.  You may have seen, heard and even tried out DALL-E, MidJourney and ChatGPT as they started to seep into the mainstream through 2022. With AI tools getting exponentially better at such a rapid rate, I wanted to start this newsletter as a passion project because I think gen art is actually incredible.

What can you expect initially?

  • A major focus on AI generated art. Gen art is being created at an astounding rate. Consolidating and showcasing my favorites will always be a big part of this newsletter.

  • AI tools for creativity. Tools that are being used to create things outside just AI art. For example, Riffusion is used to create sounds and AI generated music.

  • Twitter threads & useful information. Twitter is really where everyone goes to post their thoughts on anything tech.

Here are some interesting works that appealed to my taste this week.

DoNotPay - The world's first robot lawyer. Their CEO tweeted out they would give anybody going in front of the supreme court 1mil to let their AI robot lawyer argue the case. Personally... I would be looking for way more than 1m ! If a case is otw to the supreme court... its already divisive. Would you trust it to fight the case for you when you already reached that point?
